Our Services

Supporting Families of Central Otago

SF Central’s main services are fieldworker support provided to the family/whanau of people who are unwell and support and activity groups for people and their families. We also provide community education around mental health and have an extensive lending library which is easy to use.  All our services are completely free and are funded by District Health Boards and other funding organisations.

Services and information about other services available in Central Otago and Wakatipu are available on this site. Please contact us if you would like additional information about the services at SF Central Otago.

Fieldworker Support

We provide fieldworker support to the families/whanau/friends and employers of people affected by mental illness. This is a free, confidential and mobile service which allows people to be visited in their own homes throughout Central Otago and the Queenstown Lakes.

Lending Library

SF Central Otago has an extensive lending library of books, DVD’s, videos and pamphlets which are FREE to borrow. We also have a number of resources which are designed for children and young people.
Full details of our lending library is available on this website. We are happy to mail out resources.
