As part of Mental Health Awareness Week 2007, SF Central Otago invited Jocelyn Mcilraith, author of 'No-one Gives you Chocolates' - strategies and personal stories of recovery from depression, to give a talk. A large number of people turned up to this which demonstrated the importance of depression support in rural communities. SF is now planning a depression support group.
